THE XMAS BONUS FUNERAL PLAN FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMEBERS
Introduction
The death of a family member or a loved one is always a sad and traumatic event,even more so if no provision has been made to cover the financial burden which falls on the immediate family. The purpose of the scheme is to provide easy access to funeral insurance so that a dignified funeral can be held.
Unique Product Features
The exiting feature in this product is an annual Christmas bonus payable on 1 December every year. Depending on the entry date of the policy, the first Xmas bonus will be apro rata amount. A member has a choice between a R500 or a R1000 Xmas bonus. Another feature is the KGA Assist benefits, which includes:
Repatriation of the body to the funeral parlour closest to place of burial anywhere in South Africa.
Assistance with funeral arrangements.
24 hour legal assistance / advice and access to a health line for health related matters.
24 hour emergency evacuation by ambulance to the nearest hospital with guaranteed admittance.
Participation
Anyone in the age group 14 to 74 years may participate.
Cover is only available to immediate family members, including legally adopted and foster children.
A maximum of seven children are allowed.
Persons who are not legally married but living together as a family can enjoy family benefits, provided all relevant information is declared on the application form.
Premiums
Premiums are payable monthly in advance.
Claims
Valid Claims are settled within 24 hours.
